RESIDENZA HORTI LOCULLIANI
Official Site

The Residence Horti Luculliani takes its name from the magnificent views on the Gardens of Lucullus, originally belonging to the aristocrat and general of fine taste, who once owned the areas which are nowadays occupied by Trinità dei Monti and Villa Medic. Thanks to the spoils of the war achieved by the glorious victory over Mithridates in 66 b.c., Lucullus was able to build his magnificent residence, which later became an imperial property. It was here later during the 1st century that Claudius murdered his scandalous wife Messalina.

The guesthouse is composed by six suites, two of these have large terraces providing a full view of Via del Corso, extending from the Victorian Obelisk to Piazza del Popolo. The other suites face the Pincio hill, from which it is possible to admire the beautiful views on Villa Medici, Villa Borghese's pine trees and Trinità dei Monti's two bell towers.

The house almost resembles a hanging garden, and is adorned with decorations by the 16th century Flemish painter Joris Hoefnagel, who has a passion for botany and entomology. You can breathe the same atmosphere of the film 'Roman Holidays', as Via Margutta is only around the corner. One could lose oneself in a dream of an eternal, young and passionate Rome.

The Residence Horti Luculliani is young and fresh, perfect for the dynamic people that on vacation in Rome want to get the best of the Eternal City life. The apartment is on the fourth floor of the building and, even if it does not have an elevator, will be guaranteed on time the luggage transport service.

From the beautiful terraces overlooking a unique show, you'll see the city like you've never seen.
